Objects produced by Smith & Striker are intended for extended use, with care, wear, and material change understood as part of ownership over time.

Care

Routine care varies by material and manner of use. Avoid unnecessary exposure to moisture, abrasives, and harsh chemicals. Clean with a soft cloth and store items individually when not in use.

Surface changes, patina, and subtle variation may occur over time and are considered normal characteristics of the materials.

wear

Normal wear is expected with regular use. Minor surface marks, softened edges, and tonal shifts do not indicate failure.

Changes that affect structural integrity, including failed joints or compromised settings, are not considered normal wear but may result from impact, misuse, or environmental factors and are evaluated individually.

Refinement

At our discretion, Smith & Striker may offer inspection, adjustment, or repair for studio-made objects on a case-by-case basis. Availability depends on condition, materials, and current studio capacity.
